I brewed some porter two Sundays ago. I bottled it after one week in the fermenter and opened a bottle last Saturday to see how it was coming along. It already had a small amount of carbonation and tasted great. Very nice roastiness. I'll not open another bottle until this weekend, though. I have some Left Hand Milk Stout to tide me over until then.

My most recent--Deschutes Brewery Red Chair NWPA. Excellent last season and, seemingly, even better this!

Tried a new one tonite!
Innis & Gunn
Highland Cask
Aged in Scottish 21 yr. old whiskey barrels, very smooth for 7.1%Alc. and very tasty for oak aged beer. Could only afford one each for me and the wife. Good treat!
