Let's see, today I watched:

Panic Room's director commentary. I think I appreciate the movie more now.

Primer, and then I watched it again with the directory commentary. I had only watched the movie once, and that was back in 2003 or so. Probably one of the best time travel movies I've see (that and Time Crimes). The commentary did flesh out the couple things I still had questions about, but wasn't needed for me to understand the film. I did like the commentary to remind me what a first time film maker goes through.

Just finished up listening to the commentary for Zodiac. Fincher again.

I also watched a few YouTube tutorials camera tracking techniques for integrating CG objects with live footage. Amazing what today's software can do.

I started White Lion, but I got distracted. I can't say much for the storytelling so far, but if you want gorgeous footage of lions, this is a good Blu-ray for that.

I watched "Knowing" for the first time. Yup, I'll have to buy that one. I loved the suspense.

Hi,
When I first watch it it was the first time I stopped a movie to watch a scene a second time (plane crash). It was phenomenal.

Some recent Blu-ray movies have incredible sound track; some of them are making real noticeable progress at delivering stellar performance.

I recently watched Burlesque and it was outstanding as it should be especially for this movie genre. Just a few nights ago I watched Black Swan and I was blown away by the sound track - you would normally not expect such a performance for this movie type but what a nice surprise. I loved it.

Now that I have Netflix streaming up and running I remembered that Jakewash used to watch all of that anime stuff from time to time, so I thought I'd try it out. So I watched the first episode of Spice and the Wolf. A rather strange cartoon about a trader and a goddess who is either a little naked girl with wolf ears and a tail or a giant wolf. She befriends the trader and rides with him on his horse drawn wagon.

I think you have me confused with grunt or possibly CV, I don't watch anime very much other than Pokemon with my 7 yr old.

I've been trying out Dollhouse, despite my deep-seated issues with Joss Whedon. Ha ha. It's a decent enough premise, so here's hoping they take it somewhere AMAZING. If not, at least I got it when it was cheap.

Source Code

I enjoyed it a lot, even with Jake Gyllenhaal not being my favorite. I'm liking Duncan Jones's work. Here's hoping he keeps them coming.

I'm looking forward to renting Source Code.

I watched 3 Idiots tonight, a movie from India. It's pretty good. As usual, I predicted the big surprises well in advance, but still enjoyed the 3 hour ride. I got it on Vudu HDX, I still can't get over how good the picture looks on that streaming service.
