It lived up to your expectations Peter?
Whew.
Thank goodness. I got the Ebert and Roper thumbs up. I was nervous there for about a femtosecond.

Good post, wish there was like 100 more pics but thats ok Next time take a digital cam so you can take 1000+ pics.

On the three pics of the different finishes, are those the samples theyre sending out now? if so, thats quite a professional sample! It would have been cool to see the faces behind axiom but if they dont want to be shown thats ok, i guess we can still envision the oompa loompas in the factory lol.

Thanks, so much, for taking the time and making the effort to include us. Good Stuff!

Most startling revelation: That the speaker cabinets are "folded" together. Interesting.

Biggest disappointment: That you weren't allowed to include photos of the people. Wanted to see Amie and Ian, Noreen, etc.

Since i've never received one of their samples, i cannot say for sure, however one of them does look like it is packaged with a test grille cloth for shipping.
Perhaps someone here has received a test sample that can verify this.
They had all the colours except for a few, up on that table.
It really gives you a much better idea of what the finishes will look like when you see them up close. I think we should pressure Amie into taking some digicam snaps of some finished samples sooner than later. It shows up much better than the scanned pics on the site presently.

Yes, the speaker 'folding' was really neat to see. It makes perfect sense. It decreases the number of actual glued joints. Each corner is essentially a solid piece.
Super design.

I know about the photos of ppl but Amie is camera shy, Ian and Noreen you can see on the website, Jeff is in there, couldn't take a photo of Jim since he was in the secret lab at the time (although one of the photos in the listening room is of him), and no one else was at the factory except one or two poor souls which skittered on by. There was a lovely young lady who brought everyone lunch though. I don't recall her name.
She deserves recognition!

Ron, i love the new avatar.
Reminds me of Peter's dog, except darker in colour.
Does he have those screwy eyeballs too?
