I can't seem to get into The Vicar of Dibley. I think I'm going to give up.

One of my friends always talks about how much she liked it. I tried a few episodes, I'm with you on this one.

Starting the BBC's Life. How can these nature programs not put you in awe of what's out there in this world? Crazy, beautiful, harsh stuff. I would be such a goner without civilization.

I've been working on season 2 of Dollhouse. It's entertaining. Olivia Williams and Fran Kranz are great at their characters. Not that anyone else really sucks, but I seem to enjoy them when they're on the screen. Enver Gjokaj as Victor did a pretty good Topher Brink in an episode, I'll admit.

One thing I do hate about Dollhouse is Paul Ballard. I hate the way he talks, walks, his whiny smolder.
I've been making one of my friends watch Red Dwarf. She seems to be enjoying it, but I'm enjoying it less than before. For all of the classic moments that I love, I find a lot of it rough and not up to par anymore.

I just finished the final miniseries. It's pretty good. I know what you mean about the regular episodes not being all that funny any more. I think it's because I've seen them so many times, though. the miniseries was pretty funny. Still haven't finished season 6 or 7, either.

Went to see Thor on the weekend. It was better than I expected. I figured Asgard was going to turn out pretty tacky but actually it presented some of the most spectacular scenery I've seen since LotR. Lot's of humorous references to the other Avengers characters that were lost on my wife and one of the funnier cameos by Stan Lee. For once, I didn't see it coming.
I'm still not a big 3D fan but I think they must be getting better at it. This movie didn't seem to have anywhere near the motion blur of previous 3D films lately. For once, I forgot it was 3D most of the time.
With great power comes Awesome irresponsibility.

I bought "Flight of the Phoenix", 2004, on BD and watched it last night. The sound was some of the best I've heard. Really impressive.
