That's certainly a complete enough recollection that it needs no revision from me. I can continue the story from where Ray and I left you in the skybridge, though. Thanks to the sobering effects of a long metro ride, we found my car easily enough and then headed off to the Carlyle Cafe in Alexandria. I parked in front of a red Ferrari just down the block, then we walked in and we were seated immediately. Ray and I had a beer each, some stale but warm bread, and then the server brought us each a very delicious bread pudding with vanilla bourbon sauce and ice cream. It was a conversation stopper. As to what the conversation was, I can't honestly recall. I then dropped Ray off and I assume he stumbled inside successfully because when I had finished mapping my route home he was nowhere to be seen. I'm guessing he didn't fall and roll under a car because he did email me the next day to let me know that he had awoken -- just before noon.

What did him in? The beer or the Bread Pudding?
Fathead's wrecked Ray for Bread Pudding.

I didn't see him after the bread pudding, but he was two sheets to the wind after the beer at Churchkey. The extra beer and pudding were the third sheet, I bet.

Cool. I was just thinking that the three of us make about 19 ft of Axiomite.

Last night my homebrewer-coworkers and I got together for a fruit/sour beer tasting. There was a lot more commercial beer than homebrew on the table, but that didn't stop us from having a great time. I only took a couple pictures. The first beer pictured here was really fantastic. If you're in the SF bay area, check out their website to find out where you can grab some. The beer on the left in the second picture, the ZoetZuur (meaning sweet sour), was an amazing Flemish Red ale with cherries.

I don't know, but I'll bet CV has the scar from Russell Crowe's cell phone to prove it.

Like Tom, I wish I could have been there! Sounds like an excellent time for all. And, I'm glad to see Negative Orange will never die.
