Exactly! That's why I don't understand InterWeb "shopping" as instant gratification---ya gotta wait for it to arrive. I don't do "wait" very well.
Always call the place you live a house. When you're old, everyone else will call it a home.

Sublime's 'Pawn Shop' has a nice little riff that I like.

No offense but when this thread first started I intended to post that it needs a sign like the one hung in the guitar shop in "Wayne's World" that read "No Stairway to Heaven," except it should read "No Layla".
Now it's too late and the humour of it risks insulting the Layla posters. Sorry bout that.

EC's electric rendition of 'Layla' on the 'One More Car One More Rider' DVD (recorded live at the Staples Center in Los Angeles) in 2001 is stunning guitar work IMHO. It easily qualifies as a favourite of mine & perhaps for a few others as well & certainly deserves to be mentioned in this thread...

Sorry but I often miss, or don't get, a lot of the humour out there these days both on the net & especially on TV.
Must be a generational thing I guess. Perhaps I've become immune to humour in general, ha!
