Too funny. It was handled well by all concerned, IMO.

I've recently took notice of Hayao Miyazaki as a famous Japanese Animator, after buying Ponyo and The Secret Work of Arrietty. I've also rented Howle's Moving Castle a couple of times. Now I'm interested in purchasing all of his full feature animations that I can find. Unfortunately, only a few are on blu-ray, most on DVD, or worse. So far, my list is as follows:

I like a lot of Miyazaki's stuff . . . be forewarned though, Grave of the Fireflies is a real tear jerker.

I have avoided Fireflies for that reason. Spirited Away is my favorite. Arrietty is so beautiful.

I'll be ordering a few of these when I get paid Friday. I'll make sure Spirited Away is one of them. Was wanting to buy the newer ones first. Since his (the animator) videos are so popular, I wonder why only 2 or 3 of them (out of about 17) are on blu-ray?

There are some dvd sets of his (none of them blu-ray) that are outrageously priced. Much cheaper to buy them individually.

One thing about these movies, they have subtle yet very well done surround tracks. Really listen to Spirited Away.

I picked the 3 Hayao Miyazaki animations I'm going to order Friday.

I watched Spirited Away (Japanese animation) last night. Very creepy cartoon. Good. But creepy. I loved the faceless guy.
