See if yo can borrow a second sub from a freind or buyone and return it if you dont like. All my friends are too cheap to even consider buying a sub. They either don't have a sound system, or it's a cheap HTIB. I keep trying to make new friends, but alas..... I like the looks of those tall round black ones I see on occasion, but I don't know how good they are, or the brand name. Give me enough time and I'll probably find it.

You mean SVS subs? I really like them - my in-laws have the PC13 and it can deliver. I find my Axiom EP500 more 'textured', but the SVS can deliver in a big way. Of course that is purely subjective as they are at different houses so no back to back listening sessions.

SVS, that's it.
PC12-NSD. 400 watt, 800 peak, for $750. PC12-PLUS. 800 watt, 2300 peak, for $1200. PC13-Ultra, with dsp. 1000 watt, 3600 peak, for $1700. Legato, with dsp. 800 watt, 2300 peak for $2300.
That PC12-PLUS looks like it might work. I'm sure the EP800 would probably be better sonically. But at the price of an EP400 / EP500, it's tempting.

I want an EP800 too but after Andrew was taking info about what everyone uses, I think something new is in the works. So I think I will keep my two PS1000s for awhile longer.

Been thinking what car I'd buy if I got a windfall from my retirement funds from trading. It happened last week, but I didn't sell in time to profit from it. When I saw that happen, I'm left thinking, damn, that could have been put towards a new car instead of letting it slip through my fingers. I'm nearing retirement age, and a new car that's paid for sounds like a good option. It happened again this week and I sold it for a profit, but it was only half as much.
So far, it comes up Chevy Volt. That would be my choice. In the premium white color, with black and red interior.
Or, I could buy that $9000 subwoofer..... Nah.
