I'm thinking my next car is going to be a Chevy Volt, paid for by funds from my retirement account, before the summer is over. That's my short term goal. It's either that or car payments, and I'm averse to car payments. Especially after going without paying any or 10 years. If it happens, it happens. If it don't, I'll probably still be driving the same old Chrysler I've had since 1998. [FORUM POLICE] I'm not seeing a question, here. But, this is the Water Cooler.
If what you say is The Law, then almost all of the forum posts would have to be deleted. Make that almost all of the Water Cooler posts would have to be deleted.
I'm not feeling a lot of love at this site anyway.. Maybe I should go to avsforum and start bashing Axiom. LOL.
Naaa.

I ordered the Pioneer SC-67 this morning. Expected delivery is Friday the 18th. Now I'm broke again.

Yeah but its a good kinda broke Are you going to keep both receivers or is this merely a test. Something I was goin to mention brian, I have some axioms in my bedroom on shelves about 4 ft off the ground and I found that turning them upside down really improved how they sounded.

After testing with both receivers, I'm not sure yet what to do with the loser. I may keep it or decide to sell it. If I still like it, I'll probably keep it, because I'll be working on a dedicated, but smallish theater room downstairs.
Turning your speakers upside down probably put the tweeters closer to ear level while sitting. I have too many speakers to have all the tweeters pointing at my ears. I like the sound better the way I have it with the upper speakers pointing down a little, but towards the rear sitting position.

Today's the 10th business day since my white QS8 order..... Should ship today, I hope. Who me? patiently waiting? NEVER!
This one lonely speaker will be the only non-frontal speaker I'll have.

I keep grunting trying to mentally force the price of CTIX stock up so I can order my Chevy Volt (or whatever I decide on at the time).
I test drove a Volt yesterday, and I wasn't too impressed with it. Going to check out Ford's version of Hybrid next.
On paper, I'm up $15k. Getting a little closer.
I was hoping to hear that someone would say they'd eat their hat if I raised $40k in a short period of time. We need a new comedy video.
