I havent bought anything other than a couple vinyl LP's since christmas and it takes alot of restraint . Like a junky goin cold turkey lol.

I've been playing both DVDs & Blu Rays from my BDP-S590 on my new Sony KDL55HX850. Absolutely stunning PQ & audio performance. Upscaling 'The Wild, Wild West' DVD produced visuals that were indistinguishable from BD to my eye.
Haven't tried 3D though - not much in to it.
If they are still available, the S590 is a great buy.

One of Amazon's best deals is the 4 Die Hard blu-ray set for $25. I ordered mine today.
