Sounds awesome. I'd like to see them.
When I watched one of their concert DVD's a couple years ago, they didn't seem to give Jason White the respect or visibility I thought he deserved, but my perception may have been a result of video editing choices.
Can't believe Mark hasn't chimed in with Hell Yeah or something like that, yet.

They certainly were! I think 99.9% of the crowd were on thier feet in the first 5 seconds and stayed that way right to the end.

... they didn't seem to give Jason White the respect or visibility I thought he deserved, ... Ya, he is the underdog and deserves more spotlight. I suppose it's always tough to be a guitar player in a band when where the lead singer is so well respected for his strings as well.

... they didn't seem to give Jason White the respect or visibility I thought he deserved ... I've thought about that, too, Tom - I imagine the mindset was they were perceived as a trio and/or conceived of themselves as a trio, so he's like that "other guy" who just happens to play on all their songs but never make it into the publicity photos. A quick Googling confirmed that he's played with the band off and on for most of their history, and pretty much regularly since American Idiot. Finally, with this single release last year, he got an official listing as a band member.

For your laugh of the day... Sharon wanted an armpic of us. I hate those. They never turn out but I obliged. We both look terrible and it's blurry because I can't lift my right arm without pain right now so I was about to delete a bit later when the kid behind me said something along the lines of "Hey Dude, don't delete it! Were you trying to do a a Tres Cool impression?" I laughed and thought to myself, 'Well, maybe... if he develops the famous Murphy double chin.' To prove I can make fun of myself as well as making fun of you folk, I present to you Mr. Tres Cool and Notso Tres Cool

Well, I think it's fine to think of yourselves as a trio, but it's disingenuous to play live without acknowledging all the musicians. Rush is a trio; they play credible versions of their music live without help. Genesis always brought Daryl Steurmer and Chester Thompson out with them on tour and treated them with dignity on stage. The vibe I got from Green Day is that they kind of wanted you to perceive that Billie Joe plays all the guitar parts on stage.
