I was told that hairy chests were no longer "in".

I stopped paying attention to whether that was "in" or "out" years ago. It really matters to NO ONE once all of it turns white!
Always call the place you live a house. When you're old, everyone else will call it a home.

For those in love with Japanese Anime, the 2 movies "Howle's Moving Castle" and "My Neighbor Totoro" are now available in blu-ray.
I ordered these 2 today from Amazon with 1 day shipping, so I can watch them this weekend. I have the dvd's, but I replace the movies I really like with blu-ray when I can.

I've been wanting the series Lost, but been waiting for the prices to go down. I've only had my eye on the complete series in blu-ray and not the individual series.
Here's today's prices on Amazon.
Total of the 6 individual series = $142.89 (all new, all blu-ray)
Price of the complete series = $440 thru $795 for new.
LOL. I'll just buy the individual series 1 or 2 at a time. (My next mini-Amazon project)

I'm waiting for TNG to come down in price. $80 a season is too much. Its pretty obvious it will be on SPACE in HD eventually. TOS already is. Might have to wait it out and not purchase them at all.

Well, well, well.
I noticed a bunch of birds gathered around the only tree in my back yard today. Upon closer inspection, I noticed what looks like thousands of bugs flying out of a hole in the tree that I've never noticed before.
So, I googled flying bugs coming out of a tree, and came up with either flying ants, or termites. Studied the pictures to know the difference. Flying ants have the typical ant shaped bodies and termites don't have the body segments that ants do. Just long and slender bodies.
After watching for a while, and letting the cat entertain herself by watching the fluttering birdies, I got a small clear tupperware container and captured one. Long un-antlike body, straight antenna, equal length wings. Oh no. TERMITES.

Termite inspection revealed no recent damage, but since termites live in such close proximity to my home and I live in an old neighborhood with lots of big old trees, I decided to have it treated. Expensive though, but worth it knowing home won't be destroyed my them.
Also was able to audition speaker system at the same time, and he's in the market for some.

Termite treatment is never a waste of money, as far as I'm concerned, especially if you know they're around.
