In another thread, Ian just reported that the DSP code for the new 'power pack' upgraded woofers is ready! Hooray!!

Yup, he said he was heavy into this one, so it should be good.

The threads about the woofer but does any one know if the new towers use updated/upgraded/different tweeters then the V3 M80?

Tom, the M-100's DO have the new 6.5" super woofer that is in the LFR.

Right, but I think brwsaw was asking about the tweeters.

Bob, I'm afraid you're incorrect. The M100s are the only ones that come with the super woofer by default. The regular LFRs (heh, regular) have the same woofers as the M80s.

Gee, Ken, I didn't mean to make you afraid.

Thanks for the clarification. The combos are a bit non-linear to me.

So, I was correct that the M100's do have a different woofer than the 80's, but that is not the standard woofer in the LFR.

Right?

Didn't see this post. Sorry. Doing two things (poorly) at once. Yes, they are the same tweeters.

But I'm glad I got Ken to clarify for me differences within the LFR series.
