Michigan has a new bill on the table. It would require any establishment selling a "pint" of beer to have that pint be not less than 16 ounces. It's author claims it's not so much about policing and fines as it is to send a message of truth in advertising.
The only vocal opponents have been restaurant and bar owners who say they may now have to replace all of their glasses in order to be in compliance.
I am always moved when the complainant publicly groans about having to stop lying.
Always call the place you live a house. When you're old, everyone else will call it a home.

Not exactly Christmas beers, but they were released recently. The past two nights I had Goose Island's Bourbon County Brand Coffee Stout and Bourbon County Brand Stout. Both were so rich with flavor you could probably stand a knife in them.
