God, I love it when Alan chimes in. It's like Moses comign down from the mountain. I just seem to know that I will be educated and come away more confident about some little aspect of sound. Thanks for beign great, Alan, and for participating in your own boards!

Bruce, I don't think you'll be disappointed. My previous surrounds were switchable, and I much prefer the QS models.

As I said in another post, the best thing I've noticed about my QS8s (Thank you, BigWill) are that I don't notice them. During a movie, my switchable speakers would, more than once and for whatever reason, call attention to themselves. I don't find that with the QS8s.
