It's still October. We just turned the calendar back one month for daylight shipping last Sunday!

Our most complex tool (the rear of the cabinet) had problems. We tried repairing it but that has failed. We are going to have to make another one from scratch. It is a big drag but the material has been ordered for the new one now and we have everyone organized to run the CNC vertical end mill around the clock when we get the metal.

Bringing your tooling in house is amazing, but not without its challenges.

Hope you get it sorted out in short order.

I keep hoping for that e-mail that says it's shipping. Meanwhile the LFRs are keeping me entertained.

Problem must be more than CNC machining a piece of billet, that should not take weeks, a day or two at most.

Axiom likes to make as much of the product in house, and when I was there in February and saw some early prototypes, they were still a ways off on the milling of the cabinet. Things were being done on a 3D printer and while that works great, it does require a lot of additional machining and cleaning up. Not sure what they are doing for mass production, but they have always wanted to get things right the first time, and while my previous statement about them doing as much in house as possible, delays were to be expected. It is unfortunate though for all of you that bought one. Just know that you won't get one until Axiom thinks that it is ready and not just shuffled out the door to meet a deadline.
