No mention of where compression takes place. We've been promised 115dB with the Air.

Yup. Still lots of goodies with AxiomAir, it is just that I am seeing more and more competitors nabbing up what was an exclusive AxiomAir feature here and there. I just want the Air to be as successful as it should be, but I am getting nervous.

Pretty sure Mojo was referring to Paradigm as not having battery...

Yes, they better change the production and shipping dates on the AxiomAir page. Still pretty quiet and no pictures of the conveyor belt yet. wink

Yup. I checked out the Paradigm system, and read a couple reviews about it a month ago when my best friend asked for my opinion of Sonos. I immediately recommended the Air to him, but....

The reviews I read for the Paradigm system were very positive. There's a few awesome features on the Paradigm system. One being that their system is open, so you can add other brands of speakers to the network.

Cam, you'll be able to add whatever brand of speaker you want to the Axiom pre-amp as well.

I've never heard ARC but if it's anything like XT32, it's a good addition. I am hoping that Axiom and partners will at least make available a decent equalizer app for the Air. By decent I mean not like the Android EQ apps but more like the ones available for Windows.

The product page hasn't been amended to denote any delay, ergo it still says shipping in January, so here's hoping.

We have been doing the fit and finish detail to all the tools this past week and half. There are still a few more things to do on this list. Michelangelo also wrote a QC start-up code that sets the clock and performs a routine of tests to verify all is good with the software and hardware. When it is done these tests it will say "QC check passed" (or not) and leave the AxiomAir in analogue mode so we can run all the audio tests. This is working great. As soon as Steve can get off of cleaning up injection tools we can make a video of the process of building an AxiomAir.

Exciting times, I can't wait to get this thing in my hands. I will have to retire my old work radio. Thanks Ian!
