I have a couple on order and can't wait to hear what they are like. I'm also very interested in the Pi and the SW. Couple of Q's: - What version is the Pi - Is it easily accessible if we want to "get to it"

Hi jmone,
It is the Pi2 and it is very easy to access through a removable panel on the bottom.

Hackable and Up-gradable were design features we wanted to have. We even nicknamed the access door the "tinker door". It is not running Volumio but the AxiomAir platform was written by Michelangelo. He will be showing up a lot here starting next week to answer questions and get ideas for changes we may want to implement.

That is a super nice shack you have Ian, those are almost looking too purdy to beat up at work.

Is there any way to know whether or not mine is in this first run, or "just keep an eye on your inbox" kind of deal? I pulled the trigger within 5 hours of the kickstarter email hitting my inbox, so I'm hopeful either way
