Can someone who has the Air describe for us what inputs and outputs it has?

I don't have mine yet, but the FAQs (http://air.axiomaudio.com/faq) mention analog, USB, and ethernet inputs.

Thanks to both of you. I see in the link Scott provided we need iTunes to use it with our PC. This is really unfortunate. I will never install iTunes on my Windows machine. Is there a different way to use the Air with a Windows machine?

Hi Tom,

The volume knob is only active if you are using the Analog Input.

Hi Steve,

It is no problem to leave it on. I never shut mine off either.

Last night my wife and I had a blast using the AA. We celebrated ST. Pats by having a couple of whiskeys and cokes, and listening to great music. She had her iPad, I had my iPhone, and we were both able to access the AA interface at the same time, and independently queue songs to the playlist. It was a lot of fun!

BTW, I just received my 128GB USB Mini Drive in the mail today ($35 USD). I was able to copy my entire online library to the USB, and it only used 28GB (plenty of room to add more songs). I just plugged it into the AA and within a couple of minutes, all music was automatically indexed and available.

Ian, my wife and I are so impressed with the AA, and really enjoying it. You should be very proud!

Hi Mojo,

The only reason to install i-tunes is to avoid having to use the IP address of your AxiomAir to get to the webUI on a PC. When you install i-tunes you get a program called Bonjour along with it. It is actually Bonjour that allows axiomair.local to resolve in your browser without the IP address. Our Android App alleviates the need to have Bonjour for Android devices.

Hi Steve,

This is so cool to hear you are loving the AxiomAir. It has been a really long journey getting here. The mission sounds so simple when you say it fast enough "Sounds Fantastic and Works with Everything".

The Update button allows us to just keep making it better too.
