Ian,
It sure would be nice to get an update on the shipping of the AA in general. It would also help us be patient if we could know where we (KickStarter backers) individually sit in the queue to receive our AA, with an approximate date.

Picked up my Air from the post office yesterday .
Very well packed and very quick shipping
Opening the box for the first time ....Wow , what a beast of a machine !!!!

The beta testing instructions worked ok for Android users .
I did have to hard wire my internet connection to the Air and update to the latest version before I was able to connect to wireless . The factory version was a little glitchy . For some reason , the volume was at 100 percent when I first fired the Air up .
My red battery light and blue connectivity light remain flashing even though I charged for 24 hours .
I know I am connected because the Air functions great and responds to the controls on my phone and the wife,s phone just fine .

Back in the early 80,s I had a very large and very powerful Ghetto Blaster made by Aimor .
The Axiom Air far exceeds the sound quality of my old boombox . I agree with what other members are saying , the Air is a powerhouse of clarity . Simply put .. This thing rocks !!!
Today I was raking up the yard while streaming music from my phone . The neighbors thought I was playing my system in the living room with the windows open. The Air can hit some deep notes and its " LOUD " and clear . I use two M3,s in my recording studio . The sound from the AA is very similar to the M3,s
For those who dont know , you will need an adapter to get your sub-woofer connected . The Air takes the smaller connector
If One of you guys have your sub connected , where did you get the connector from ? Got a part number or a picture ?

As far as a first impression . Axiom gets 2 thumbs up from me . The Axiom Air is outstanding .
Now its time I do some beta testing . I will report back

One little thing, the specs say:
- Amp Power (continuous RMS) = 150 watts
- Power Supply is marked as 15v @ 8.3 Amps = 124.5 watts

The AA will also accept a DLNA Video feed. I've not plugged in a monitor to see if you get a video output but you do get Audio.

The AA will also take all my web audio links handed off over DLNA (eg Radio Station URLs). This includes AAC, AAC+, MP3, M4a and those that only have 1ch (these cause issues with some DLNA Renderers).

So I've scared my self silly a few times as I rotate between my Player (JRiver), the Web UI, and the Android App as at time the AA changes Vol to 100% when you bring say the Andriod App into focus. Also the front Vol Knob does nothing for me when using DLNA.

Fit and finish is great, though a couple of small blemishes (a small area on my black grill that is silver and some of the rubber moulding at the top is not smooth but both of these are minor).

Removing an Ethernet cable (with a rubber any snag cover) is hard as there is not enough room to put you finger in between the catch and the ceiling of the connection cubby (I have to use something like a pen or screw driver to force down the catch).

Hi jmone,

The power supply is 15 volt 8.3 amp continuous but is capable of going to 12 amps for a few minutes, which is forever in the world of audio signals.
