Last week we began the first full production run of AxiomAirs. It all begins with the molding of the parts. I want to extend a big thanks to everyone who has given us invaluable input through the Beta process. Michelangelo plans to have the last of updates needed later this week. This means it will be time to ship all the orders outstanding and reduce the lead time on new orders. We also plan to keep going with updates to the AxiomAir User Interface as we develop new features; so please keep the suggestions coming for ways we can make the AxiomAir better.

It's always great to see updates! But Ian, maybe you should look into a tutorial on re-sizing photos!

You might want to look into a Master Unit Die system. Makes changing and aligning molds SOOOO much easier.

Ian, great to hear the production run is underway.
Reading all the comments from you beta testers lately has really amped up my excitement and anticipation of receiving my AA.

Got mine Monday, thanks Ian! Originally I was having issues playing audion from an external source, I.e. my Echo Dot. However the latest software release seems to have fixed that. One note though the AA app alanlog input check box always looks to work now, but if I return from another menu it may or may not appear checked even though its functioning. Also, if I power cycle the AA it doesn't maintain the status of the external input, I have to turn it on every time I power up the AA.

Alternate question, if there an option to order alternate tops? I made a horrible mistake ordering a white top.
Thanks,

Regarding Access to the Pi itself: - SSH access is available - HDMI / KB / Mouse is available (need to open the tinkers door to get to the HDMI connector)
...but what is the Login / Password details? (tried the std defaults like pi/raspberry root/root etc even air/air type combos"
Thanks Nathan

Has anyone figured out how to remove the battery?

I got it part way out then thought.... I don't know how it is wired in so pushed it back into it's slot.
I undid the four screws then used a plastic pry bar to work it out a bit till I could get my fingers under the lip.

I tried prying it out but gave up because I didn't want to risk messing it up. The battery connects to the harness using a Molex-style connector. I have one battery so I saw the connector in the other battery compartment when I removed the cover.
The battery has to be wedged in there tight otherwise it can vibrate.
When you took out your Pi/DAC board, was one of the boards seated an an angle? Mine is at an angle because the header connector and the stand-offs are not at the correct height.
