Had a chance to see the image quality and wasn't impressed. It could be their combo pack but I wasn't impressed. The 720p from Bell is much cleaner/clearer IMHO. They still save money and it's full screen (ffs). Our neighbourhood got knocked back a month or so. Still thinking about dropping Bell for all internet package. Looking at the webpage recently I noticed the tiered packages had been removed, they're pushing the 150/150+tv+home phone package on 2 year agreements. Guess it'll come down to getting what I want before switching...
I had asked Telus, "If my neighbors are going to fiber does that mean I could possibly get higher down and upload speeds with what I have?". They couldn't confirm if I would or if I might be able to upgrade without any agreements and or real physical changes to what I already have.
Speed test still confirm 5 down and (less than) 1 up. Guess I'll have to be patient.
