"Shetland" on Netflix. Very different settings than typical crime dramas, believeable, very good acting. Probably not enough guns for NRA fans as I don't think I saw any firearms until well into the second series, but, some good stories with several twist added here and there. Quite a lot of characters in the drama and the Scott accents are a little thick at times, but a great show to check out.

I don't know when they made it available, but I finally watched season 2 of You're the Worst on Hulu. I wouldn't put it up there in classic status, but it has some surprisingly well-crafted moments. It's not always easy to relate to the characters, but when you do, it's worthwhile.
Easy on Netflix. I was afraid it was going to be another pretentious dramedy I wouldn't be able to stomach, and while several of the elements are there, I found it down-to-earth and humble enough in its execution that I liked it a lot. Not something I'd watch on repeat, with its "adult" sensibilities, embracing the complexity of life, but I'm glad I took the chance. Besides the nuanced writing, the acting is there to match. Impressive performances.

Westworld! Really enjoyed the first episode, especially the soundtrack which included background player-piano versions of Black Hole Sun and Paint it Black.

Got that waiting on the DVR. Wife found it for us.
I've been watching 120 Minutes on MTV Classic --- I had forgotten how over-the-top colorful some of those 80's/90's videos were.
