OK, just wondering as I am pretty sure taxes are supposed to be calculated after the trade up value is deducted.
Items Purchase - Item Trade in * taxes = Total Cost. atleast thats how other places work.
I tried to trade up yesterday and the site did the Item cost * taxes - My Trade in = total cost.

The only problem I see with that is the 30 day audition period. I am waiting for an email reply to confirm, but I can only assume that you pay the full price up front and then if you decide to keep the new speakers you send your trade-in speakers back at which point you will get a credit. I'm not sure if Axiom does the credit pre or post tax calculation at that point. Also I assume they give your speakers a once over when they receive them to make sure they meet the condition specified for trade in value estimation. Perhaps Axiom can verify that?

You know how they say never to assume? I just received an email from Debbie answering this question. She says Axiom only charges you the difference up front. So much for my logic and assumptions! Now I have to figure out my order as I payed via PayPal with no trade-in information - meaning I paid the full amount up front - oh well, I know I'll get it sorted with Axiom, they always look after their customers. Apologies for the misleading assumptions.

So looks like I will keep the M22's for a while and just get them in the factory Outlet when they come available.
