Anyone else seen this yet? It still works as a "plug" but I'm guessing it is not ideal!

The power connection is not great, it keeps separating. I'm not sure if I should attempt to fix it, any advice?
Thanks
Nathan

Silicone it in place and put a quick disconnect on it. Just make sure the disconnect meets the electrical specs.

Yes, that happened to me too. Doesn't seem to want to connect - the pins won't go in the holes. I'm powerless.

Happened to me too. Axiom sent me a new one. Hope they are getting reimbursed for these defective power supply plugs. I mapped the pins this time and if it happens again I'll buy a better connector for it.

I've not heard back from Axiom (also sent an e-mail 10 Days ago) which is not like them, so I ordered a couple of Kylon KPPX-4P connectors and thought I'd replace the broken plug myself. After cutting away the old plug I've decided that the soldering required is above my skill level..... so over to mouser for a replacement PS - I'm getting this one - http://au.mouser.com/search/ProductDetail.aspx?R=0virtualkey0virtualkeyGST160A15-R7B

I'd rather spend some $ than blow up my AA!

Hi jmone,

Really sorry we missed your e-mail. The power supply you are looking at getting will work perfectly. A side note, be careful not to lean your AxiomAir N3 way back on the hind legs as it will put pressure on the connector.

Yup that is how I damaged them in the first place. Rocking them back to open the front door. Do that a few times and the connector starts to fall apart.

We are in the process now of changing the plug to a barrel jack and adding a piece under the plug so the roll back doesn't put the weight on it.
