Does anyone have any experience with multiple Air's?
I am thinking about buying another...
I'd like to know if I can connect the two together and if so do I have options to create stereo sound (each air acting as a single L or R speaker) and/or the option to have them play at the same time -for example multi-room playing the same song.
Lastly what are the known limitations when both speakers are chained together (vs a single Air)?
How do the inputs work? Can I still use Apple Airplay for example? Am I forced to use the analog input??
Could someone give me some real life experiences or use cases??
Thanks!!!

I have 2 x AA and a bunch of other networked speakers. With the current SW: - No to L/R pairing - Yes to Whole House Audio (using Airplay as the transport). I tend to "push" audio to the speakers rather than use the apps for the various speakers as they all appear on my network. Using a SW controller like https://rogueamoeba.com/airfoil/ you can even mix and match Airplay (including the AAs) / Chromecast / Sonos / Bluetooth, even PC's running virtual speaker software for synced playback. There is a thread / review over at JRiver Media Center that discusses this (and also links to a similar product called Tuneblade) - https://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php/topic,114934.0.html

I want to use the two AAs outside with my Projector.
Will I be able to play movies (video) from the AppleTV to the AAs using AirPlay?
What about if I hardwire one (using 3.5mm) would the other tether via network and play the same audio?
Thanks!!

I see you changed your signature to remove the erroneous EP150 and add an EP125.

Hi Shawzy44,
I wonder if a pair of wireless M3 or M5HP would be a better choice for what you want to accomplish. The transmitter could be plugged into the optical output of your AppleTV box. The transmitter box will broadcast the right and left information to the speakers wirelessly and will also be on your network to receive music over AirPlay.

I received my 2nd AA.
I cant get multi-room audio from iOS Airplay to work. Any details on how to do this? Any videos? I don't find the Web UI or iOS UI to be very intuitive.
What settings do I need to keep multi-room on?
I start music on one AA then drag the non-active/not playing AA over the playing AA and nothing happens -both have no sound. The UI The first AA shows the song is still playing but the audio from the speaker stops. The 2nd AA does not play any audio in this setup either.
Has anyone done this successfully?? What am I missing?
Thanks in advance!!

Multi-room over AirPlay will only be available from a computer with iTunes. It will not work with an iPhone or iPad until we implement AirPlay2 which we are working on now.
Multi-room will work from any device using the AxiomAir UI by hitting the Edit groups button in the lower right above the Queue button. Once inside the Edit groups you will be able to drag one room over another to create a group.

Thanks. I am excited for Airplay 2.
I have tried to get Multi-room working using the instructions as you've outlined (and in the manual). As I say above, the audio actual stops once the group is formed. I cannot get the AA's to output any sound in this Mule-Room mode. Is there some sort of limitation on the source that maybe is causing this?
For now, I am using the MacOS app "AirFoil" as jmone mentioned. It works well.

This sounds like we should figure it on the phone. I cannot think of any reason off the top of my head why creating a group would stop the stream. If you can PM me your phone number and a good time to contact you we can figure this out.
