 how long to clear customs (US)

My shipment is stuck in customs since Friday of last week.
Debbie, et al are trying to help get the docs needed to clear it. But fedex is still showing customs clearance delay. Anyone has insights into how this long process typically takes?

When the customs agents have had their fill of your Axiom gear, they will release it to you.

Seriously though, Axiom has shipped at least a few hundred tons of stuff to the US. Not sure what the hold up us now.

Yeah that's what I thought so too. But it is a pretty big order with lfr 1100 actives, amps, ep 800s, lfr 180 .. so maybe there is more documentation needed I guess. Having waited for 2+ months to get it all done with all the special touches and customization:), I was hoping to finally get it this week. It is stuck in customs just a couple of 100 miles from my place. That makes it even more frustrating!

Well one of my orders of 13 packages ship 5/13 with a scheduled delivery date of 5/26 ...
THEN they hit FedEx purgatory... I.e. customs. About two weeks later they started to dribble out ... sort of virtually At first... as they sent me updates on time of delivery every two days moving the date two days away. Till bam a couple actually did show. Then I started to get the expected time of delivery changed every day. Somewhere around 6/11 I received the 12th package ... and lucky #13 was declared lost months later.
You have nothing to worry about

I would not expect more than a 1 day delay in customs... guessing something unusual happened like the customs documentation envelope falling off the box.
That or they have a drug sniffing dog with a quirky sense of humour.
