I'll have to give Amazon a whirl. I do have Prime. I've had it for years, but rarely mess around with their music service.
Jeff- don't concern yourself with the silliness. I appreciate hearing your point of view and experiences. Mojo is, well, just Mojo. Harmless and generally has good intent.

Amazon gives prime members free limited access ... meaning they give you a good sampling of different singles and albums plus a bunch of premixed lists of genre and top hits. I’ve been listening to it as I work in the shop and It’s getting a bit trying.
If you what everything you need to pay the $11 a month fee which for me doesn’t make sense as I would much prefer applying that to one of Apple’s bundles (music, video content, cloud storage, ...) which I’ve been resisting forever as individual offering.

Spotify Premium here. Love it. Tried Tidal. Sounds better but not great for discovering new artists. Playlists and community shared lists way better on spotify. Too expensive imo.
Bluetooth from ipad to Arcam rBlink in Stereo upstairs
Aux jack from Galaxy 10 to work truck (playing offline downloaded daily mixes and discover weekly)
Chromecast Audio to Garage powered monitors with Ipad
Bluos via NAD 777 from Ipad in theater
Use it everyday for hours.

Check. No nude yoga on the deck, skateboarding or strolls with a ghetto blaster for Jeff. I hope my post on Spotify was helpful. Remember, Bezos's AI bots are watching and learning on every purchase. Could be a good thing or bad.

I've been messing around with the free version of Spotify. I like it better than Pandora. Better mix, and newer music. What does the Premium version add?
I'm also wondering how I can set up an interface with this app and my AVR. I really do not like using my phone. I want something that will just sit there on my equipment rack and be available for use, so I do not need to have the 65" TV turned on. Some type of interface I can stream music, and also find my music collection on a hard drive. I was looking at one of the Chromebooks, but I'm not sure if they have a very good audio output that I can plug into the receiver?? Another thought was to get one of those 15" touch screens you find at retail stores, but then I'd need something to run the app.... I'm overthinking this. What should I do??

The Axiom Transformer converts your AVR to a media streamer. I'm still waiting for mine. Or you could plug an Amazon Firestick into your AVR and use the Firestick remote on your TV. Here's an article about Premium vs. Free. Higher quality, listen off-line and a few other things. https://www.cnet.com/how-to/good-reasons-to-pay-for-spotify/

I have the Fire Stick plugged into my AVR already, and that is how I'm currently interfacing with Spotify, but I have to output video to my TV, and use the Fire Stick remote. I'm just looking for another way to accomplish the same function, but only use a smaller display that will sit on top of my equipment rack (and I'll use the AVR's secondary HDMI output).
I am basically looking to get rid of my old Squeezebox Touch device. The Touch has a Spotify app, but it doesn't work worth a damn, like many apps/plug-ins, so it's gotta go. I've been trying to keep it well past its prime.....

I actually have an Android Tablet (Samsung) that I rarely use...... I didn't think about using it. I'll need to look into that option.

Connect it to WiFi, download Spotify, enter your credentials, select Firestick and away you go!
