The samples make excellent trivets.

Walnut, Bordeaux, semi-gloss finish. The finish is really nice, organized setup. I'm sure that rug helps with reflections. If i had more time in Whitehorse in late 2019 i had thought about mountain hopping over to the northern neighbor but then i picked up a stomach bug. I just can't get used to or like that orange tone though. I was thinking about colours for awhile with our impending speaker switchover from the vinyl wraps and i'm not sure i would go forward with the Boston Cherry. It looks a lot more orange than the vinyl wrap but some other finishes are way too red. The natural walnut is nice but only in the right light. Some light makes it look orangey. [sigh] [/sigh]

I also have the walnut caramel and walnut espresso. Those might be more up your alley.

I actually prefer the boston cherry over the walnut espresso. Lol. Both look good!
But I like ole’ timey color schemes I guess.

Just keep in mind that with digital photos, color tone will vary. I can grab any one of these photos and make them look different by adjusting white balance. For the pics I just posted, I used my phone and let it do all the work. They look slightly different to me in person than what I see on this website. I have a couple other walnut speakers with different colors. I'll shoot them later and post pics.
The rug definitely helped with room acoustics.
