I ditched everything except YouTube Premium. Totally worth it.

Went to see [i]Barbarian[i] on opening day only knowing that it was a horror movie with a little buzz and Justin Long as the "ultimate toxic white guy." Loved it. I would say go in as blind as possible. It's a lot of fun, and I already went back for a second viewing. I tried to get a couple of friends to go, but so far I haven't convinced anyone. I'll probably go a third time while it's still in theaters.

I couldn't control my bladder on this one. It's a short parody of the first year of the Engineering Science (EngSci) program my son graduated from. If you are in a sour mood, this will fix you. For reference, Praxis is a course where you have to tear down a product and analyze it and also build something and showcase it. TA is teaching assistant. AP Calc is advanced placement calculus from grade 12. While it prepares you somewhat for the traditional engineering program, it's an absolute joke for EngSci. The U of T EngSci program is accelerated and absolutely brutal. It's one of the most distinguished engineering programs in the world. https://youtu.be/FDQSPpqT8GsThis one is classic as well. Very creative. Poor kids. https://youtu.be/8nSX7V1rw_o

Watched Ghostbusters: Afterlife and we're still recovering. Who needs Atmos? With 4.7, I had pristine sound pouring out of every surface including the floor. It was slamming our vortex ports from the bottom, punching our backs, vibrating our brains and even rattled our ribcages once. I honestly thought all the gear would come unglued.
Kodiak, if you'd heard this, you'd throw a little tantrum, call Ian up and say "I want to live audio life like Mojo. I want what Mojo has!" One day, you will be rewarded for all your patience.

Wrong side of the tracks on Netflix. Love the characters and their banter.

I hope you’re right…I can be patient. I’m just quite happy with I’ve got at the moment. But there are obvious improvements that are needed. But now that we’re in our new house 1.5 years I’m getting itchy to seriously improve the great room. We’ve just been so darn busy. And it’s a big deal, it’s gotta be done just right. And the basement theatre is another big project too. I sit down there and ponder and map it out in my mind. I’ve got my office setup down there with m2 playing nearfield and it sounds very good. Even as I walk away or back into the room , it sounds good. I’m really enjoying having a few systems to play with and mix the components around etc. For now I’ll keep waiting……until I enter Mojoland.

You're sort of already in mojoland. You have three different speaker topologies and you're getting to know their differences. Maybe you need to try a totally different design now. Something like this: https://oswaldsmillaudio.com/imperia

Well those are cool!
I would seriously consider a pair of Klipsch Jubilee or the more “reasonable” La Scalas.
I remember my dad used to have a pair of open baffle speakers. There was like 12 drivers in each speaker in a Teak finish. Super wide but very narrow. He sold them at garage sale, too bad. I always remember those behind really interesting.

Rex learned that from me! Great deal for $1200. Looks like he's driving them with an el cheapo amp from Amazon.
Here's your chance. I think it's a better deal than Black Friday. It's a bit of a drive for you though.
