Just beautiful!
To the untrained eye, it looks like a mess. But to the highly trained EMC engineer, it is a work of art! There's an entire subculture that would be reworking that with cable management, RGB lighting, and liquid cooling. I settled for covering the glass shelf with black construction paper rather than a felt mat or glass frosting. It's just the right amount of low reflectivity and subtlety, and really cleans up the look. Now I'm tempted to use the frosted window film on the lower windows so I don't have to stare at the parked cars.

Why don't you just line the bottom of the windows with speakers?

In a few years, auto-correcting soundbars will be available. The auto-correction will not only room EQ; it will include motorized drivers for optimum beam-forming. The tech exists; the complete algorithm to EQ and beam-form does not. I would not hold my breath on this one Rich, you were saying? Daniel, time to upgrade to a soundbar!! https://youtu.be/fuelZAhH_OQGuts and tech specs here. https://dragon.nakamichi-usa.com/

Yes, I saw that last week. The Dragon's giant enclosures and wireless everything solves all the virtual speaker problems of the Devialet Dione, B&O Beosound Theater, and Sennheisser Ambeo Max; and the soundstage width and dynamic range issues of the Sonos Arc/Sub/Fives, Bose 900/700 Sub/Sats or the Samsung flagships.
I can see the Dragon being the future form factor template of high end audio and home theater. I'm not holding my breath that Nakamichi uses anything that resembles NRC research in their tuning.
Oh, to be held back by sunk cost fallacy!
