Wait until it's a retired product. By then, the firmware will be fixed and all manufacturing issues will have been resolved.

Not rushing to buy in yet … ART (hate the name … in that I doubt it is a total replacement for treating your room) seems to me to be in competition with Trinnov’s waveforming stuff … how much reality vs hype is still up in the air … at some point, after the early adopters are not complaining anymore… I might be convinced … for now it’s on the watch list

The newest Marantz lineup is pretty impressive. Has me rethinking my Marantz boycott.... I'm still leaning towards the Integra DRX 8.5 at the moment, but I have several months before I need to buy something. Do you ever watch Ripewave Audio on YouTube? He's not entertaining, but his product reviews are thorough as hell.

My family and I are traveling to do a few days, including New Years, with my sister. On the way we visited a friend whose husband just passed. Well just learned she came down with Covid. Of course I tested positive (so far the only one) and I am now in isolation … only so much you tube, movies, sorting mail, organizing my portable, and surfing one can do. Guess that gives me an excuse to post something on the preprocessor front. Ok here it is … Amirm came out with a review of the AVM90. Gave it a thumps up.

Just reading that review. Crazy that the XLR aren’t fully balanced. Why do you think they wouldn’t be? ( other than cost savings…)
What do you run? RCA / SE , or XLR?

The XLR outputs are fully balance … they are just being driven from the non-balanced outputs. Each stage adds a bit of noise so the XLR outputs measure a tad noisier … the difference would not be detectable by ear.
