Accurately, and articulately put, Tom. Smacks of censorship, I think.

Hijack away, Rich. If you follow many threads here, you'll find it's the rare one that doesn't get hijacked or just ("sorry pmbuko, but what goes around comes around") peter out.
To try to answer your question about the 7200. I have no personal experience with it, but from everything I've read and heard, it is well respected. I know that many forum members own HKs, and speak highly of them. Hopefully, one or two who know that particular model will speak up.

tom - I see you have chosen French as the language de jour for slaughtering . Interesting about AVS Forum. They are HQ'd here in Rochester and I have traded a few PMs with a couple of the mods. The seem to be standup guys. I've been trying to find some time to check out their retail location, but something always pops up.
Oh, before I forget tom - Corona. This thread has now been officially beer-ized!

In reply to:

Well, we all know what that "something" is not...
And now I've taken this thread straight to the gutter.

Ajax,
Not to be miscontrued but I concur. It does smack of censorship, but if that's the "rules", that's the "rules".
PS I love my SVS, BTW
I can slaughter french as well as the next guy...but I am particularly adept at pig latin.
Beer of choice...anything that has hops, malt/barley and water will do. As of today the "biere du jour" happens to be "honey brown" loaded in the kegerator.
pmbuko, you said that very nicely..I would have said, "We all know that at your age nothing ever pops up"....but I don't know Ray3. Perhaps you have "first hand knowledge"?
I have officially taken this thread into the inner bowels of the sewer system....anyone care to "beat" it. lol.
Concerning the H/K (IMHO, it is a very good receiver), got it figured out over at AVS....say what you will about their censorship, but that site gets hit a ton each day and, generally, the posters are humane and tolerant.
Just my .02.
It's been fun...I'll let everyone know what I think about the Axioms once they get here in the right color.
Thanks for the laughs.
Rich

My story is both good and bad.
I purchased (2)M60's, VP150, and (2)QS8's in July. After opening the boxes I noticed a small tear in the cover of one of the QS8's (it was about 1/4" long). I was actually going to let it go, but Amie emailed me soon afterward asking how everything was. I told her everything was great, but a cover had a small tear. I had a new cover within 3 days. EXCELLENT!!
This next part was my fault. I should have pulled the bad cover off the speaker. Here's why...When I finally got around to putting the new cover on I discovered one of the pegs that the cover attaches to was broken. Then I checked over the box that it came in. Sure enough, there was a hole in the box (it was more like a slit). I think I was so happy to get the speakers I didn't even notice it. Anyway, the 30-day trial period expired so I couldn't say anything. Basically it was my fault. I'm sure Amie would have made it right, but I let too much time go by.

Hello Msb1999,
Hope you are well. Axiom service is fantastic, I am positive they will fix the problem, give em a hollar. I had a small dimple on one of my drivers and they sent me a new one pronto, and I got to keep the old driver.
Later,
TonyM

It's been over 2 months and you can't replace just the peg. I'm not sure, but I think the whole speaker needs to be replaced. I doubt if they would replace the speaker after 2 months. Like I said, it's my fault. I should have checked it all out within the 30-days. I'll know next time. Still like the speakers though.

Hello Msb1999,
Hope you are well. Give em a hollar, no harm in trying. Five years parts and labor. One guy even had his Wife throw an object through a woofer cone, and he was asking how much for a new driver, Axiom replaced it for free within warranty. That was after being told that his Wife destroyed it.
Axiom has great service.
Later,
TonyM
