Thanks Bigjohn. I'd agree the flaw is more than acceptable, particularily since I'm expecting to see this kind of thing at some point, given my kids.
I'll definitely let you folks know my opinion with lots of pics once I get everything else and get it set up. At this point its even difficult to give impressions on the sub as I'm realizing its going to take some effort to tweak things just right. I used the Denon auto set up last evening and I got to say it sucks. At least for the sub set up. I'm in a 20' long room sitting about 15' away and the reciever said the sub was 21' away. And who knows about the sound levels... I'll definitely have to get one of those Avian (spelling?) discs you folks talk about, but I should have some time before the rest arrives. One thing is for sure I can really crank this thing loud with no distortion.
Cheers, Jag

David and Goliath...
Very SWEET Daphoid. That looks about 1/3 the size again over the 500, a real monster and I bet its sounds as impressive as it looks.
I'm still relishing the "first look" feeling as I saw the EP500 come out of the box. By the looks of that pic yours must have been a very memorable one too.

NO actually its BOOTY, er BOOSTY. OK its BOOST.
The manual says its meant for medium to small rooms and is used to overcome room loading or boundary effects by increasing frequencies above 33HZ to varying degrees depending on what you set it to.

Thanks. You got it Spiffnme, Boston Cherry.
The camera I used is a real cheapo and I had to use alot of lighting just to get the pics looking OK. Some time down the road when I get my own digi camera I'll try to take some pics that more accurately represent the Boston Cherry finish. I now understand just how difficult it is for Axiom to get truly representative pics. Not to mention the variation in everyones monitors.

if you guys are looking for a better pic of the rear control panel on the new subs, go to the store. Underneath the finish, vertical/horizontal purchase block (about 2/3 down, left-hand side), there should be a link saying "control panel".
