I came across this well-written and thorough article about speaker design while Googling for info on outdoor speakers. It covers a lot of material, but is excellent reading.

Wow!
That was a ton of info.
Lots over my head, but plenty interesting to be sure.
Did you click around enough to come across the interior views of those Ariels that he designed? Pretty wild.
Has Axiom ever put up any pics of the interiors of our speakers?
And a lot of what he was talking about concerning crossovers, the interior standing waves and the radiused corners and surface reflections sounded like some of what goes into both the Axioms and those Rockets.
Interesting.

Great find Peter. Thanks! Now I need to win the lottery so I can buy a house with a garage and a pile of woodworking tools, oh and take a class or two on physics and engineering after a remedial math class.
