rrlev, I would wait before buying it. It sounds like you have extraordinarily high standards, which means you're so easy to disappoint. Yesterday I popped into a brick and mortar audio retailer who's an authorized Bryston vendor. I've known the salesman for decades, and he didn't have positive things to say about the company since the change in ownership. He praised the product, but delivery times have slowed to the point of being unpredictable. You're more likely to get punctuality from product shipped from the UK, EU, or Norway than you are within Canada. It's nice having a promise, but I'd rather have a proof.

Yes. Aesthetically, it's been the best audio salon in Western Canada for the last 30+ years. They've renovated this year and somehow made it even nicer.

Don’t worry … I’m just following them … when they actually produce the box and the expansion cards and everyone says it’s working great … then I might actually think about it … in the mean time lets see if other companies follow … I’m kind of expecting the future to bring us 16 channel prepro’s w/expansion boxes for the crazy’s who want more
Besides now that the HT surround is working 100% better I might not have explore more channels any time soon. Definitely need to play more.

Home theater is dead. Everyone's building five Airbnb rooms in their basement. In one quadrant of my city, basements are being converted into rooms of ill repute.
