Remember the astonishing realism you noticed the first time you saw high-definition television? Prepare
to be that amazed, all over again. The M1 High Powered Computer Speaker delivers full-range,
high-fidelity sound like you’ve never heard before coming from your computer. Play better-than-CD
quality music files, the latest video game, or just stream from your favourite video service – no
matter what content you consume, the M1s will spice it up with nuances you’ve been missing.
Traditionally, the sound cards that come in your computer speakers are lower quality (unless you
specifically request an upgrade.) The M1s aren’t phased: they remove the soundcard from the
equation. With an onboard DAC (Digital to Analog Converter), all the sound processing happens on board
the speakers, faithfully recreating the full range of sound that you are sending to it. You’ll
even be amazed at the sound of a new email arriving in high-definition clarity!
75 watts of power – per channel! - in the onboard amplifier mean that your speaker will play loud
and clear – go ahead and turn it up, and up, and up. The M1s can take it and give it back to you
with style.
The M1s connect to your computer via a single USB input. Have some great tunes on your smartphone,
tablet, or music player? Just plug into the 3.5-mm mini port on the back of the speaker and you’ll
have intoxicatingly clean sound in seconds.
Choose from either standard black or grey finishes, or custom-match the speakers to your desk or décor
by selecting ‘Customize Yours’.

Yes, the speakers offer both USB and 3.5mm (headphone) ports.
If you've got the money, it's hard to go past the Audiobytes as a pre-built PC sound system. These speakers blow their mainstream competitors out of the water with clear, analytical sound.

Call of Duty 4 is equally enjoyable and the detail of the audio is incredible. From the rapid burst of the P90 at close range to the constant cacophony of grenades on Wet Work, the sound is crisp, clear, detailed and beautiful. Overall gaming performance of these speakers is very good. Axiom is committed to quality audio - not hype and flashy packaging like other companies.
Finally there's a computer speaker system that combines style with performance. . . . Axiom's Audiobyte speakers put typical plasticy computer speakers downright to shame. . . an exemplary build quality. The Audiobyte system delivered impressive sonic details with every song selection.
We're delighted when a set of speakers reveals an element of a song we've never detected even after hundreds of listening sessions (and with very good speakers). Verdict - 9/10.
Review byMichael Brown, Maximum PC Magazine
Axiom Audio's new Audiobyte might be among the few PC speaker systems that actually sound as good as dear old Dad's stereo. . .I have never heard sound like this from PC speakers
the Audiobytes have resolution and clarity to burn in the midrange and they sound a great deal more like a very good pair of mini-monitors than they do computer speakers. . . it manages to deliver remarkably clean, neutral, high resolution sound in a very flexible and attractive package. With Axiom's free shipping policy and a 30 day in home trial period, it's a persuasive argument for better sound from your computer or iPod.
How does it perform: In a word: amazing. The Audiobyte set delivers performance that you'd expect out of a truly high-end system; no surprise considering Axiom's been in the high-end audio market for a long time. All in all, the Audiobyte pumps out some amazing audio that really brought out the best in our music, games and movies. . . the audio performance really is spectacular. We were amazed by how powerful the speakers sounded, especially considering their size.
So how did they sound? Much better than I expected. they ARE audiophile quality. The Audiobytes were demonstrated with classical music, the hardest test of any speaker and the sound was smooth, sweet, full, and clear. . . definitely the best I've heard from any computer speaker, including my Monsoons. which I thought would NEVER be beaten in their class.
What makes the Audiobyte rig so different from similar products from vendors such as Bose, Logitech, Creative Labs, and other companies who've built such gear for years now? Two words: quality and control. . . I've listened to hundreds of PC speaker rigs, but I've never heard any others that can compare to these . . .
