That thing was apparently amp of the year. Hambrabi described its technical performance as "euphoniously lyrical, with mellifluous overtones under-pinning singularly present fundamentals of fervently ardent attack and parsimoniously steadfast decay."

I think my review was more like "minimalist design, flat packs for easy shoplifting, sounds as good as the medical equipment tech it's based on".

Love the capacitance “cans of energy”. They actually look like pistons. Just need the rings on there. Now that’s horse power. Nothing better than a nice pair of cans for good headroom. .

Well, the cans were willingly made available to me. Hmmm...I should go dig up the Polaroid photos of them. I still have them along with other high school memorabilia.
