So, I think the earlier design (where all the amplification resided in the sub) has been scrapped to provide greater flexibility in purchase/installation. I'd imagine that the MZero (or whatever) outboard amp will be designed pretty specifically for - if not internal to - that system.

But, you know, I don't work here or anything. I just watch.
