Letting you leave the shop knowing that there is a chance your accelerator could stick is not good for business. Dead customers don't tend to be repeat customers. I'd be thinking hard about how loyal you are to him.

That thought has crossed my mind. He does have a lot of good qualities. Price (usually). Thoroughness (usually). Fixes things he finds along the way (this is what has caused my throttle problem.) I'm going back there Friday, and I'm going to insist that he fixes the throttle problem then. Will call today, to make sure he's going to have the part available. I can't pay him for that one until about 3 weeks down the road, but he did cause the problem.

I'll be on the lookout for a different mechanic, if I can find better.

Ran out of money for movie additions. If you click on my signature link, you'll see only 4 movies listed under Latest Additions at the top. That list has been as high as 30 movies in the past. It's the last 3 weeks of movie purchases I've made.
