Probably should have named the tread “visiting places you first saw in a movie” … or maybe places you never thought you’d visit … as where we live is probably exotic for the person who lives in a place we think is exotic.

There's a sand dune, but you're bundled up like it's freezing. I'd say you're a fossil poacher making your riches in the Gobi desert.

It’s morning and it’s cooler. The sun will still burn you though … these are single humped camels that are mainly found in North Africa/ Middle East. Have no doubt they can be found in the Gobi but I think mainly the double humppers are found there … not being a camel guy and going by the 5min lecture I received …my info may be less than 100% accurate.

That pic was taken in the Sahara Desert about a week ago … near Erg Chebbi in Morocco.
Just got home yesterday… when I get settled I’ll put up a couple of more fun movie related posts …

When we were in Rebat we visited this place

This is where the chase scene down the stairs was filmed for Mission Imposible Rouge Nation … here’s a clip. Chase screen Rouge Nation

We drove most of the chase scene route, not intentionally, just ended up that way. The road in the mountains is not anywhere close to Rabat.
