 Itunes File Transfer Question

Really basic question here. I have a lot of cd's in itunes on my iMac. All of them I burned from cd discs onto the hard drive in Apple Lossless format. What is the best way to transfer those cd files to another iMac keeping the lossless format? Can it be done by hardwiring the two iMacs together?

Ok so I figured this out. you just transfer the itunes library to a USB drive and then from the USB drive to the new computer

0ne way of transferring a lot of data from one Mac to another is to put one into target mode (rebooting while holding the “T’ key). Then it acts like a disk drive after logging in. Goggle it.
