The M2 On-wall speaker preserves the sonic midrange and treble clarity of its bookshelf equivalent, the M2, and adds a slim profile that is a perfect complement to today's modern low-profile plasma and LCD TV screens. Mated with a subwoofer for deep bass support, the on-wall M2 is ideal for average to smaller-sized rooms.
The M2 On-wall uses Axiom’s innovative wall-mounting bracket. The bracket serves as the electrical connection to the speaker wire (the cables attach to a clamp on the bracket) so that when an M2 On-wall is pushed down onto the bracket, electrical connection is made. The latter arrangement lets the M2 On-wall’s rear baffle mount truly flush with the wall surface for a smooth, self-effacing appearance. All brackets, mounting templates and screws are included.
Recommended: You'll enjoy enhanced and extended deep bass response if you mate the W2 with one of Axiom's powered subwoofers.

I received the M2i speakers today. My little system--Cambridge a300 amp-8inch Ar sub-M2i! I listened to Carmina Burana (Telarc) and it sounded wonderful. The old speakers, Boston Acoustics HD10, are much too laid back. I am very pleased, thank you.
