Daniel, I have no problem if you’re still into Gundam … think my kids (now 20+) like that stuff … it’s ok … we won’t judge you.
As for “seeking vanishly small/non-existent marginal returns” … getting your bass dialed in is one of the most noticable things one can do to your system. Think it was the Olive score that had bass down as over 1/3 of the quality rating (I’m going by my fault prone memory here …. So feel free to correct me) … in any case good bass rates high in system perception and is something most audiophiles & non-audiophiles appreciate. What I’m trying to do is even out the bass over the seating area … if you have thoughts on how to best achieve that I’d love to hear them …
